Confirmation
“Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”– Joshua 1:9
In Confirmation the Christian becomes more closely united with Christ. With the strengthening of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit the Christian is able to accept new responsibilities for witnessing Jesus to the world. In this way the Christian is equipped to become a better witness to Christ in the world.
In the Hamilton Diocese, Confirmation is usually celebrated by – but not limited to – students in grade 7.
